روزنامه سوییسی ادامه داد: سیاست، اقتصاد و منابع سرشار نفت و گاز در این كشور سالهاست كه زیر كنترل شخص علی اف قرار دارد. الهام علی اف، رییس جمهور فعلی آذربایجان در سال 2003 و پس از فوت پدرش قدرت را در این كشور بدست گرفت و حتی در یك رفراندوم فرمایشی در سال 2009 قانون اساسی این كشور را تغییر داد تا بارها بتواند خود رابرای ریاست جمهوری نامزد كند.

'نئوزرشر سایتونگ' نوشت: انتخابات ریاست جمهوری و مجلس تا كنون آزادانه و عادلانه در این كشور برگزار نشده اند. همچنین رژیم علی اف هر بار معترضین به تقلب در انتخابات اعتراض كرده اند آنها را به شدیدترین وجه ممكن سركوب كرده است. به همین خاطر نیز در مجلس این كشور كه دارای 125 نماینده است یك نماینده از اپوزیسیون حضور ندارد و همه نمایندگان موجود در آن از سرسپردگان علی اف و قبیله او هستند.

این روزنامه یادآور شد: فشار علیه اپوزیسیون در این كشور مسلمان در سالهای اخیر بسیار شدیدتر شده است. در بهار سالجاری رژیم با خشونت تمام اعتراضات اپوزیسیون را سركوب و خبرنگاران خارجی را از كشور اخراج كرد. حتی كسانی كه شهامت به خرج داده و در مجامع عمومی ویا در وبلاگ ها به علی اف انتقاد كرده اند را به زندانهای طولانی مدت محكوم كرده اند.

'نئوزرشر سایتونگ' تصریح كرد: آزادی بیان و عقیده در آذربایجان به طرز شدیدی محدود شده است. هر كسی كه كوچكترین انتقادی به رژیم بكند دستگیر و زندانی می شود. در سال جاری خبرنگارانی كه به وضعیت بد مردم در این كشور انتقاد كرده بودند از سوی افراد ناشناسی كه بدون تردید از افراد رژیم بودند مورد ضرب و شتم قرار گرفتند.

روزنامه سوییسی یادآور شد: سازمان خبرنگاران بدون مرز آذربایجان را یكی از دشمنان آزادی مطبوعات در سراسر جهان عنوان كرده است. خبرنگارانی كه درباره علی اف و قبیله او بنویسند فقط در خطر قرار ندارند بلكه خبرنگارانی كه درباره ارمنستان نیز قلم بزنند در خطر جدی قرار می گیرند.

روزنامه سوییسی نوشت: آذربایجان سرشار از منابع نفت و گاز است ولی كمتر كسانی در این كشور از این امر بهره می برند. فاصله فقیر و غنی در این كشور دارای 9 میلیون نفر جمعیت بسیار بالاست. از درآمد عظیم نفت و گاز در این كشور فقط یك قشر كوچك وابسته به رژیم بهره می برند.در لیست شفافیت بین المللی در سال گذشته آذربایجان در ردیف صد و چهل و سوم در بین 183 كشور قرار داشته است. حتی كارشناسان بر این عقیده اند كه علی اف پس از پایان برگزاری مراسم یوروویزیون، مجددا به جان مخالفین خواهد افتاد و آنها را قلع و قمع خواهد كرد.
